How to burn a smudge stick
Light the bundle and once a flame appears, blow it out or gently shake until embers appear and it starts to smoke. Visualize the smoke taking away any negative energy, If indoor, it is recommended to open a window for the energy to escape. To extinguish, invert smudge into the sand or salt to smother.
